Whether you’re a finance/payroll manager, HR professional or general manager, this is an important opportunity to learn how to prevent costly payroll errors and what to do if your organisation finds it has underpaid staff.

The outcomes are:
Participants will gain a greater understanding of steps to take to avoid underpayments including how to ensure systems & pay rules are up to date and recommendations on how to self audit compliance. Participants will also learn about the Fair Work Ombudsman’s role in underpayments including when an employer should self report to the FWO.
Who is facilitating?
Claire Bailey
Claire is the Head of Workplace Relations for Ageing Australia and has worked in the aged care sector for LASA and then ACCPA since January 2020. She has worked in employment/industrial relations since 2002 in the public and private sectors gaining experience in a range of industries.
Robert Price
Robert is currently the Director responsible for Large Corporate Investigations within the Operations Group of the Fair Work Ombudsman. Over the last 10 years Robert has led significant investigations in a range of sectors and responsibility for several major Inquiries undertaken by the Fair Work Ombudsman and has a special interest in workplace relations issues in regional areas & issues affecting young workers.
