At Ageing Australia’s Annual General Meeting on 17 November 2025, members approved to change our legal name from Aged & Community Care Providers Association Ltd to Ageing Australia Limited.
Our annual reports, prepared each financial year, highlight our achievements across the aged care sector, showcasing our advocacy efforts and the delivery of services aligned with the priorities outlined in Ageing Australia’s strategic plan.

Annual Report 2024-25
This period has been a transformative time in the aged care sector, with significant efforts led by the Ageing Australia team. From influencing development of the Aged Care Act 2024 to applying a consistent and equal focus on implementation of the reforms, our highly complex and interactive advocacy work with politicians and public servants in Canberra has characterised much of 2024-25.”

Our impact 2024–25
Here is a snapshot of our activities and accomplishments in 2024–25.
In 2024–25, we supported 1,067 members including 48 new members – representing almost three in four providers. Based on aggregated results from our 2024–25 quarterly pulse surveys, the average member experience score (MXS) was 83.5 – indicating members feel satisfied and supported, seeing real value in their membership.
We provided prompt and effective support and advice, as well as ongoing connection and networking, with our members through 11,377 unique instances of contact across a range of subject areas. Of these, 4,056 were requests for support from members to our national member support team and 5,881 were state-based member interactions.
We developed a new website which earned 389,412 total website users and launched CaRE – our new member-only communication and engagement platform. Our Policy and Advocacy team made a total of 42 formal submissions to government, including 28 national submissions on major reforms, and our input was shaped by member feedback.
Our Learning and Professional Development (L&PD) program engaged 4,087 learners from 669 providers across 54 training products and 204 delivery dates. Our Sector Support and Development (SSD) team supported CHSP providers, with 23,000 users accessing our Workforce Hub.
We responded to 2,698 queries through the Employment Relations Advisory Service, while more than 650 providers accessed our quality management portals.

2024 year in review
The 2024 year in review infographic offers a comprehensive overview of activities and accomplishments within the sector.
ACCPA proudly represents the majority of aged care service providers across Australia, encompassing residential, home, and community care, as well as seniors housing and retirement living. We have an impressive net promoter score of +44, reflecting high member satisfaction and a strong endorsement from our community.
Additionally, the majority of members feel they are maximising their membership benefits. Our reach includes three in four aged care providers and 60 per cent of retirement communities nationwide — a +10 point increase from Q2 2023.
